Head of Institution
Job Summary:
The Head of Institution is the chief executive officer responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational management of the institution. This role encompasses academic, administrative, and financial oversight to ensure the institution fulfills its mission and maintains high standards of excellence, compliance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership to promote academic excellence, institutional growth, and organizational sustainability.

Oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans, policies, and programs.

Represent the institution to external stakeholders, including government bodies, accrediting agencies, industry partners, and the community.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold institutional accreditation standards.

Manage institutional resources effectively, including budgeting, staffing, and infrastructure.

Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement among faculty, staff, and students.

Lead institutional advancement efforts, including fundraising, public relations, and partnerships.

Report regularly to the governing body on institutional performance and development.
Qualifications:

Doctorate or Master’s degree in Education, Administration, or a relevant discipline (depending on the institution’s level and type).

Proven leadership experience in an academic or institutional setting, preferably in a senior administrative role.

Strong understanding of institutional governance, policy development, and strategic planning.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
