IT Lecturer
Job Overview:
The IT Lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Information Technology-related subjects. This includes developing and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding students through their academic journey, and engaging in research and professional development activities. The role combines teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the growth and development of the IT department and its programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Instruction:

Design, develop, and deliver IT-related courses in areas such as software development, networking, cybersecurity, databases, programming, and IT management.

Prepare lesson plans, create assignments, quizzes, and exams that align with the course objectives.

Teach both in-person and online classes using modern teaching technologies and platforms.

Provide students with timely and constructive feedback on assignments, projects, and exams.

Offer additional support to students through office hours, mentoring, and academic advising.

Research and Scholarship:

Qualifications:

Education: A Master’s or Ph.D. in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: Prior teaching experience in IT or related subjects at the tertiary level is preferred.

Skills:

Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, etc.).

Strong knowledge in IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, databases, or other related domains.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
