Junior Chemistry Teacher
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Chemistry Teacher to join our science department. The successful candidate will teach chemistry to students in grades 9-12, developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that foster academic excellence and curiosity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver chemistry lessons to junior students, aligning with curriculum standards.
2. Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
3. Develop and maintain a safe, inclusive laboratory environment.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance science education.
5. Participate in staff development and school events.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Education or related field.
2. Teaching certification or eligibility.
3. Experience teaching chemistry (or related subjects) preferred.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
5. Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs.
