Junior Clerk

Position Overview:

The Junior Clerk is an entry-level administrative position responsible for supporting various office functions within an organization.   • Schedule Appointments and Meetings: Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences for team members. Prepare meeting rooms and arrange for necessary materials.
  • General Office Assistance: Provide general office support to senior clerical staff, supervisors, and other team members as needed.

3. Customer and Client Interaction:

  • Respond to Queries: Assist clients, customers, or visitors by answering basic inquiries or directing them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Maintain Professionalism: Handle interactions with clients and staff in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.

4. Record Keeping and Filing:

  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure that all documents, files, and forms are maintained in an orderly, accurate, and secure manner.
  • Create and Maintain Files: Help create new files for new cases or projects, and ensure that files are correctly updated and organized.

5. Data and Report Assistance:

  • Assist in Data Management: Support senior staff with data management tasks, including collecting data, updating databases, and creating simple reports.
  • Assist with Reports: Provide administrative assistance in generating reports or summaries, as needed.

6. General Administrative Support:

  • Assist with Special Projects: Help senior clerks and administrators with various tasks or special projects, including research or organizing data for future use.
  • Basic Bookkeeping: In some settings, the Junior Clerk may assist with basic bookkeeping tasks like preparing invoices, tracking expenses, or managing petty cash.

7. Maintain Office Efficiency:
