Learning and Development Manager
Job Summary:
The Learning and Development Manager will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development programs that support the organization’s strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as a strong understanding of adult learning principles and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learning Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.
1. Program Design:
Design and deliver learning and development programs that meet the needs of diverse learners, including leadership development, technical skills training, and soft skills training.
1. Program Evaluation:
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs, including assessing learning outcomes, participant satisfaction, and return on investment.
1. Project Management:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including coordinating logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery.
1. Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including senior leaders, subject matter experts, and external partners, to support learning and development initiatives.
1. Budget Management:
Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of learning and development programs.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
1. Experience:
At least 5-7 years of experience in learning and development, including experience designing and delivering learning programs.
1. Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and practices.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree:
Master’s degree in Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
1. Certification:
Certification in learning and development, such as the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) designation.
1. Experience with Learning Management Systems:
Experience with learning management systems, including design, development, and implementation.
