Lecturer – Business Studies
Position Overview:
A Lecturer in Business Studies is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in areas such as management, marketing, finance, human resources, and entrepreneurship. The role involves delivering high-quality academic instruction, mentoring students, conducting research, and contributing to the academic and administrative activities of the institution.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures, seminars, and workshops in various business-related subjects.

Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with curriculum standards.

Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, presentations, and projects.

Provide academic guidance and career counseling to students.

Engage in scholarly research, publications, and academic conferences.

Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and institutional initiatives.

Participate in departmental meetings, accreditation processes, and faculty development programs.

Establish partnerships with industry and business organizations for student internships and placements.
Skills and Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field.

Strong subject knowledge across core areas of business studies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in teaching, research, or corporate training is preferred.

Ability to integrate real-world business trends and case studies into teaching.

Competence in using modern teaching tools, e-learning platforms, and data analysis software
