Lecturer in Mathematics
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Lecturer in Mathematics to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics, conduct research, and contribute to the academic and professional growth of our institution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics, including lectures, tutorials, and seminars.
2. Research and Scholarship: Conduct research and scholarly activities in mathematics, publishing research papers in reputable academic journals and presenting at conferences.
3. Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university service, including committee work, community outreach, and professional development.
4. Mentoring and Advising: Advise and mentor students, providing guidance on academic and career matters.
5. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of curricula, course materials, and assessment tools.
Requirements
1. Ph.D. in Mathematics: Earned Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field, with a strong record of research and academic achievement.
2. Teaching Experience: Proven teaching experience, either as a teaching assistant or instructor.
3. Research Experience: Established research experience, demonstrated by publications, presentations, and/or funding.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

1. Postdoctoral Experience: Postdoctoral research experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to research and academic excellence.
2. Industry Experience: Relevant industry experience, demonstrating practical application of mathematical concepts.
