Manager, eLearning and Design
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Manager of eLearning and Design to lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of engaging digital learning experiences. The successful candidate will oversee instructional design strategies, manage eLearning projects, and ensure the effective use of technology to enhance teaching, training, and learning outcomes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and delivery of eLearning modules, online courses, and digital training programs.

Manage a team of instructional designers, multimedia developers, and content creators.

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create effective, interactive, and pedagogically sound learning content.

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Develop quality standards and ensure all learning materials align with institutional or organizational goals.

Evaluate the effectiveness of online courses and recommend improvements based on learner feedback and analytics.

Stay updated on trends in instructional technology, learning sciences, and digital education.

Manage eLearning project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

Provide training and support for faculty or staff in using educational technologies and digital tools.
Qualifications and Requirements:

A Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, eLearning, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or digital education.

Experience managing teams and eLearning projects.

Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia), LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas), and graphic/video editing software.

Strong understanding of learning theories, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).

Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:

Experience in higher education or corporate training environments.

Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards.

Creative mindset and user-focused design approach.

Ability to analyze learning data and translate insights into improvements.
