Job Overview:
A Math Teacher is responsible for teaching mathematics to students at the assigned grade level, ensuring that students understand key mathematical concepts and develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching and Instruction:

   • Provide timely, specific, and constructive feedback on student work to help them improve their skills.

   • Track student performance using both formative and summative assessments, adjusting teaching methods when necessary to address learning gaps.
3. Classroom Management:
   • Create a positive, disciplined, and respectful learning environment where students feel safe to explore, ask questions, and make mistakes.
   • Establish clear expectations for student behavior and academic work, ensuring students adhere to classroom rules.
   • Manage classroom dynamics effectively, keeping students engaged and on task while ensuring a focused and supportive learning environment.

4. Curriculum Development and Planning:
   • Collaborate with other math teachers and school leaders to develop and refine the curriculum, ensuring alignment with state and national standards.
   • Adapt curriculum and lesson plans to accommodate student interests, real-world applications, and current trends in mathematics and technology.
   • Keep up to date with new teaching strategies, educational technologies, and developments in the field of mathematics education.
5. Student Support and Mentoring:
   • Provide additional support to students who struggle with the material through one-on-one instruction, tutoring, or after-school programs.
   • Encourage students to develop independent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
   • Promote student engagement in mathematics outside the classroom by encouraging participation in math clubs, competitions, and other extracurricular activities.
   • Advise students interested in pursuing advanced studies or careers in mathematics or related fields, offering guidance on higher education opportunities and career paths.
6. Technology Integration:
   • Incorporate technology into math instruction, using educational software, apps, and online resources to support learning and make lessons more interactive.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree or teaching certification is a plus.
• Experience:
