Job Summary:
Prepare and teach Montessori materials and lessons to students, fostering independent learning, self-directed activity, and intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lesson Preparation:
1. Prepare Montessori materials and lessons for students.
2. Develop and implement individualized lesson plans.
Classroom Instruction:
1. Teach Montessori materials and lessons to students.
2. Guide students in independent learning and self-directed activity.
3. Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and exploration.
Classroom Management:
1. Maintain a well-organized and prepared Montessori classroom.
2. Ensure student safety and well-being.
Student Support:
1. Observe and assess student progress.
2. Provide individualized support and feedback.
Collaboration:
1. Work with colleagues to integrate Montessori curriculum.
2. Participate in staff meetings and training.
Requirements:
1. Montessori certification (e.g., AMI, AMS).
2. Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
3. Experience working with children.
4. Strong knowledge of Montessori philosophy and methods.
