Professional Development Coordinator

Job Summary:

 

The Professional Development Coordinator is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating professional development programs for employees. The successful candidate will work closely with department heads, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training needs, develop training programs, and deliver high-quality training experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Assessment
1. Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and development needs.
2. Collaborate with department heads, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training priorities.
3. Develop a comprehensive training plan that addresses identified needs.

Training Program Development
1. Design and develop training programs that meet identified needs.
2. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training content.
3. Ensure that training programs are engaging, interactive, and relevant.

Training Delivery
1. Deliver training programs to employees, either in-person or online.
2. Evaluate training programs to ensure they meet learning objectives.
3. Make recommendations for improvements to training programs.

Program Evaluation
1. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
2. Collect and analyze data on training program outcomes.
3. Make recommendations for improvements to training programs.

Communication and Collaboration
1. Communicate with department heads, managers, and employees about training programs and opportunities.
2. Collaborate with other departments to identify training needs and develop training programs.
3. Represent the organization at training and development conferences and events.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Training, or Related Field: A bachelor’s degree in education, training, or a related field.
2. Experience in Training and Development: Experience in training and development, either as a trainer or training coordinator.
3. Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to Design and Deliver Training Programs: Ability to design and deliver training programs that meet identified needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in Education, Training, or Related Field: A master’s degree in education, training, or a related field.
2. Certification in Training and Development: Certification in training and development, such as the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
3. Experience with Online Learning Platforms: Experience with online learning platforms, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS).
4. Bilingual or Multilingual: Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
