Project Manager
Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the execution of specific projects or initiatives within the organization. This includes coordinating and leading cross-functional teams, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning: Develop and maintain project plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
2. Team Management: Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including setting goals, objectives, and priorities.
3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including developing and implementing risk management plans.
4. Communication: Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.
5. Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses, identifying variances, and taking corrective action.
6. Quality Management: Ensure that projects are delivered to the required quality standards, including developing and implementing quality management plans.
7. Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations, including identifying, analyzing, and responding to stakeholder needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, computer science).
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, including experience with project planning, team management, risk management, and budgeting.
3. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
4. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
2. Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
3. IT Project Management: Experience with IT project management, including experience with software development life cycles.
4. Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, including experience with business case development and cost-benefit analysis.
