Registrar
Job Summary:
The Registrar will be responsible for managing and maintaining the academic records of students, including transcripts, diplomas, and grades. The Registrar will also oversee the registration process, including course scheduling, student registration, and classroom assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Records:
Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records for all students, including transcripts, diplomas, and grades.

Oversee the registration process, including course scheduling, student registration, and classroom assignments.
1. Scheduling:
Create and manage course schedules, including scheduling classes, assigning classrooms, and managing faculty workload.
1. Transcripts and Diplomas:
Prepare and distribute official transcripts and diplomas to students and alumni.
1. Grades and GPA:
Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date grades and GPA for all students.
1. FERPA:
Ensure compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), including managing student records and ensuring confidentiality.
1. Accreditation:
Assist with accreditation efforts, including preparing reports and documentation.
1. Communication:
Communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding academic records, registration, and scheduling.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as education, business, or communications.
1. Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in a registrar’s office or a related field.
1. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in student information systems, such as Banner, Colleague, or Jenzabar.
1. Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
1. Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree:
Master’s degree in a related field.
1. Experience with SIS:
Experience with student information systems, such as Banner, Colleague, or Jenzabar.
1. Experience with Accreditation:
Experience with accreditation efforts, including preparing reports and documentation.
1. Certification:
Certification as a registrar, such as the Registrar Certification Program (RCP).
