Registrar

Job Summary:

The Registrar will be responsible for overseeing the registration and records processes for students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Registration:

Oversee the registration process for students, including course selection, scheduling, and fee payment.

1. Records Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records, including transcripts, diplomas, and other academic documents.

1. Degree Verification:

Verify student degrees and certifications for graduation and other purposes.

1. Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing student records and registration.

1. Communication:

Communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding registration and records matters.

1. Reporting:

Prepare and submit reports on registration and records data as required.

Requirements:

1. Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, administration, or records management.

1. Experience:

At least 2-3 years of experience in a registrar’s office or a related field.

1. Skills:

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree:

Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as education, administration, or records management.

1. Certification:

Certification in records management or a related field.

1. Experience with Student Information Systems:

Experience with student information systems, such as Banner, PeopleSoft, or Jenzabar.
