The Registrar will oversee the management of academic records, registration, and graduation processes. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Academic Records:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date academic records for students, including grades, transcripts, and diplomas.
1. Registration:
Oversee the registration process, including course scheduling, student enrollment, and fee collection.
1. Graduation:
Coordinate graduation processes, including degree verification, commencement ceremonies, and diploma distribution.
1. Compliance:
Ensure compliance with institutional policies, federal regulations, and accreditation standards related to academic records and registration.
1. Communication:
Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff regarding academic records, registration, and graduation processes.
Requirements:
1. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
1. Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in a registrar’s office or a related field.
1. Skills:
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree:
Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
1. Certification:
Certification in registrar’s office management, such as the Certified Registrar (CR) designation.
1. Experience with Student Information Systems:
Experience with student information systems, such as Banner, Colleague, or Jenzabar.
