Spoken English Instructor
Job Summary:
The Spoken English Instructor will be responsible for teaching English language skills to students of various ages and proficiency levels. The instructor will focus on developing students’ speaking and listening skills, as well as improving their pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching: Teach spoken English classes to students of various ages and proficiency levels.
2. Lesson Planning: Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons that meet students’ needs and goals.
3. Classroom Management: Manage the classroom environment to ensure that students are engaged, motivated, and respectful.
4. Assessment and Feedback: Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their English language skills.
5. Communication with Students and Parents: Communicate with students and parents about students’ progress, goals, and any concerns or issues that may arise.
6. Continuous Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in English language teaching and learning.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field.
2. Certifications: TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA certification.
3. Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience teaching English as a second language.
4. Language Skills: Native-level English proficiency.
5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field.
2. Experience with Young Learners: Experience teaching English to young learners (children and teenagers).
3. Experience with Exam Preparation: Experience preparing students for English language proficiency exams (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL).
4. Technical Skills: Familiarity with online learning platforms and digital teaching tools.
