Urdu Language Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Urdu Language Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Urdu language and literature to students of various ages and skill levels, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a love of the Urdu language and culture in our students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Urdu Language and Literature: Teach Urdu language and literature to students of various ages and skill levels, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
2. Develop and Implement Lesson Plans: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners and align with state and national language education standards.
3. Assess Student Progress: Assess student progress and understanding of Urdu language and literature concepts, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
4. Foster Cultural Awareness and Appreciation: Foster cultural awareness and appreciation of Urdu language and literature, including its history, traditions, and contributions to world culture.
5. Classroom Management: Manage the Urdu language classroom, maintaining a safe, organized, and respectful learning environment.
6. Collaborate with Colleagues: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, share best practices, and support student learning.
7. Communicate with Parents: Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress, sharing insights into their child’s learning, and involving them in the educational process.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Urdu Language and Literature, Education, or a related field.
2. Teaching Certification: Valid teaching certification in Urdu Language and Literature or a related field.
3. Teaching Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school or high school setting.
4. Language Expertise: Strong knowledge and understanding of Urdu language and literature, including grammar, vocabulary, and cultural context.
5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
