Vice Principal
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated educational leader to join our school community as Vice Principal. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Principal in the overall leadership and management of the school, with a focus on student learning, teacher development, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership and Management: Support the Principal in the leadership and management of the school, including developing and implementing school policies and procedures.
2. Student Learning: Oversee the development and implementation of curriculum programs, including monitoring student progress and achievement.
3. Teacher Development: Support the development and evaluation of teachers, including providing coaching and mentoring.
4. Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and the broader community, including developing and implementing community engagement strategies.
5. Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school, including managing budgets, resources, and facilities.
6. Pastoral Care: Provide pastoral care and support to students, including managing student behavior and well-being.
7. Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, caregivers, teachers, and the broader community.
Requirements
1. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
3. Skills: Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
4. Knowledge: Knowledge of curriculum design, teacher development, and community engagement.
Desired Qualifications
1. Doctoral Degree: Doctoral degree in Education or related field.
2. Leadership Experience: Experience as a Principal or Assistant Principal.
3. Special Education Experience: Experience working with students with special needs.
4. Bilingualism: Ability to communicate in multiple languages.
