Computer Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Computer Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching computer science and information technology courses to students of various skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
– Teach computer science and information technology courses, including programming, software applications, and computer systems
– Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curricula
– Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Encourage students to explore the latest technologies and innovations in computer science
– Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide technology plans
– Stay current with developments in computer science and education technology
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
– Teaching certification or license (if required by state or country)
– At least 2 years of teaching experience in computer science or a related field
– Strong knowledge of computer science concepts, programming languages, and software applications
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
– Experience teaching a range of computer science courses, including AP or IB courses
– Familiarity with educational technology platforms and tools
– Strong understanding of curriculum design and implementation
