Primary Teacher
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join our school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies, to primary school students.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Primary School Curriculum: Teach a range of subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies, to primary school students.
2. Develop and Implement Lesson Plans: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners and align with state and national curriculum standards.
3. Assess Student Progress: Assess student progress and understanding of curriculum concepts, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
4. Classroom Management: Manage the primary school classroom, maintaining a safe, organized, and respectful learning environment.
5. Collaborate with Colleagues: Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, share best practices, and support student learning.
6. Communicate with Parents: Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress, sharing insights into their child’s learning, and involving them in the educational process.
7. Support Student Wellbeing: Support the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of primary school students.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
2. Teaching Certification: Valid teaching certification in Primary Education or a related field.
3. Teaching Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a primary school setting.
4. Subject Matter Expertise: Strong knowledge and understanding of primary school curriculum subjects, including literacy, numeracy, science, and social studies.
5. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
