Vice Chancellor
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished academic leader to serve as Vice Chancellor. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and vision for the university, working closely with the Chancellor, faculty, staff, and students to achieve academic excellence and drive institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and vision for the university’s academic programs and initiatives.
2. Faculty Development: Foster a culture of academic excellence, supporting faculty development and research initiatives.
3. Student Success: Promote student success and well-being, ensuring that students receive a high-quality education and support services.
4. Budget and Resource Management: Oversee budget and resource management, ensuring effective allocation of resources to support academic programs and initiatives.
5. Community Engagement: Foster partnerships and collaborations with external stakeholders, including business, industry, and community organizations.
6. Policy Development: Develop and implement policies and procedures to support academic excellence and institutional growth.
Requirements
1. Qualifications: Earned doctorate from an accredited institution.
2. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in higher education, with a proven track record of academic leadership and administration.
3. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of higher education trends, academic programs, and institutional operations.
Desired Qualifications
1. Advanced Leadership Experience: Experience serving as a dean, provost, or vice president.
2. Fundraising Experience: Experience with fundraising and development initiatives.
3. International Experience: Experience working in international higher education settings.
