Deputy Controller of Examinations
Job Summary:
The Deputy Controller of Examinations will assist the Controller of Examinations in overseeing the planning, organization, and administration of examinations, ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of exams, and maintaining the integrity and security of the examination process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Controller of Examinations: Support the Controller in overseeing the examination process, including planning, organization, and administration.
2. Examination Planning: Assist in planning and scheduling examinations, including creating examination timetables and coordinating with academic departments.
3. Examination Administration: Oversee the administration of examinations, including supervising examination staff, coordinating logistics, and ensuring compliance with examination regulations.
4. Examination Security: Ensure the security and integrity of the examination process, including managing examination materials, supervising examination centers, and investigating any irregularities.
5. Results Processing: Assist in processing examination results, including verifying results, resolving discrepancies, and communicating results to students and academic departments.
6. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of examination policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and institutional standards.
7. Staff Supervision: Supervise examination staff, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
8. Communication: Liaise with academic departments, students, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of examination-related issues.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, business administration).
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in examination administration, educational management, or a related field.
3. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of examination administration, educational regulations, and institutional policies.
4. Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
2. Certification: Certification in examination administration or a related field.
3. Experience with Examination Software: Experience with examination software and technology.
