Lecturer in Computer Science
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lecturer in Computer Science to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, and administrative duties within the Computer Science department.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching: Deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students in Computer Science, including lectures, tutorials, and project supervision.
2. Research: Conduct research in Computer Science, publish research papers, and secure research funding.
3. Administrative Duties: Participate in departmental administrative tasks, such as curriculum development, student advising, and committee service.
4. Student Supervision: Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects and dissertations.
5. Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and updating of Computer Science curricula.
Requirements:
1. Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Teaching Experience: Proven teaching experience in Computer Science.
3. Research Experience: A strong research track record in Computer Science.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
